The $149 new patient special, explained

Our new patient special is the offer most people ask about first, so here is everything it includes and the small print, in plain words.

What is included

A comprehensive exam with Dr. Park or Dr. Reed, a full set of digital X-rays and a professional cleaning, all in one visit, for $149. Booked separately, an exam with X-rays is $95 and an adult cleaning is $120, so the special saves you $66 on your first visit.

Who qualifies

New patients who pay without insurance. If you have dental insurance, your plan usually covers a first exam and cleaning in its own way, so we bill the plan instead and check your benefits before the visit. The special cannot be combined with other offers, including the 10% senior discount.

How long it takes

Plan for about 60 to 75 minutes. Arrive 10 minutes early or complete the forms online beforehand. Bring an ID, your insurance card if you have one, and a list of medications you take.

What happens if we find something

The exam comes with a plain summary: what is healthy, what needs treatment and what can wait. Every recommended treatment has a price next to it. If we find gum disease, we explain why a deeper cleaning is the better first step and schedule it separately; the $149 covers the exam, X-rays and a standard cleaning. We never start treatment you have not agreed to.

Kids

Children are welcome from age 3. The special is for adults; a kids cleaning is $89 and a parent or guardian needs to be present.
